Operation Surprise Attack

Based in Perrysburg, Operation Surprise Attack is a community service organization supporting children ages 3 to 17 with serious, rare, chronic, or life-threatening health challenges across Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan. It organizes card campaigns four times a year, with community members creating cards that the team personally delivers, along with special gifts and financial support when possible. Community involvement also includes card-making stations, local events, school connections, and partnerships. The organization hosts fundraising events and coordinates holiday sponsorships that provide gifts and shared experiences for families. Gold and Platinum Adopt-a-Family sponsorships provide direct help with expenses such as gas, groceries, travel, and everyday needs. Families connect with the organization through a recipient application, followed by a personal conversation about the child and what would make them feel special.
