About Vingt-Neuf Bowmen
An archery club in Perry Hall. Founded in the 1950s, Vingt Neuf Bowmen is affiliated with national and Maryland archery organizations and the Maryland State Game and Fish Protective Association. Its 25-acre property includes a 20-yard indoor range, outdoor practice and field ranges, and a broadhead practice area. The club holds indoor and outdoor shoots throughout the year, including sanctioned events and 3-D shoots featuring life-size animal targets. Indoor shoots run from November through March, while the outdoor target season runs from April through October. Family Archery offers beginner classes on Saturday mornings during the fall and winter. JOAD training is for archers ages 10 to 20 who own their equipment, with achievement awards and support for recreational or competitive development.
