About BookSmiles
BookSmiles collects donated books and gives them new life through programs serving children, educators, schools, daycares, and nonprofit organizations. Schools can request book fairs where students choose three free books, and teachers can register for the Teacher Take Program to select books through an annual membership. The organization also provides free books to nonprofits serving underserved children and families, with delivery available to qualifying daycare centers to help children build home libraries. Book donations include children's and adult books, textbooks, reference books, and more. Volunteers can help sort books, and the organization accepts financial gifts. Its specialty is distributing books to promote childhood literacy. BookSmiles is based in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.
