Main Street Paragould

A nonprofit economic development program, Main Street Paragould works to revitalize Downtown Paragould through historic preservation. It supports the historic commercial district through design, organization, promotion, and economic restructuring. The program also promotes the district's historic, cultural, social, visual, and economic significance and educates the community about downtown revitalization. Its service area includes more than 190 businesses, most of them locally owned. Main Street Paragould offers ways for community members to take part through volunteer opportunities and support for preservation and downtown development. It also introduces visitors to local business owners and points people toward downtown restaurants, bakeries, shops, and places for fun. The organization is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation in Arkansas and has been an accredited Main Street America member since 1999.
