Hands On Dog Training

A private dog training business. Hands On Dog Training provides personalized, in-home sessions in Paradise, Chico, Oroville, and surrounding areas. Gloria Post works one-on-one with dogs and their owners in a familiar, distraction-controlled setting, using reward-based techniques and positive reinforcement. Lessons cover everyday obedience, including sitting, lying down, coming when called, leaving items alone, and walking on leash. The training also addresses behaviors such as jumping, nipping, barking, chewing, lunging, and pulling on leash. Sessions are tailored to each dog's needs and the household's routine, with particular attention to puppies and recently adopted dogs. Each session lasts 1 to 1.5 hours, and the number of sessions depends on the dog's behavioral requirements.
