It's My Community Initiative

Safe Families Oklahoma temporarily hosts children in volunteers' homes while parents address short-term emergencies. It's My Community Initiative is an Oklahoma City-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on financially vulnerable individuals and families. Its programs include TRUE Dads, which provides free workshops, coaching, employment support, and community resources for low-income fathers and co-parents. Work Ready Oklahoma offers job preparedness and skill-building workshops supporting self-sufficiency. The IMCI Youth Initiative serves disadvantaged Oklahoma City youth ages 14 to 18 through after-school services, life-skills education, and support for education, employment, relationships, and family goals. The organization also works with community partners and funders to strengthen families and communities.
