About Pilates NOW
In Oakland, Pilates NOW is a Pilates business offering group classes and FitFormer equipment. Its founding company, Pilates ProWorks, opened its first studio in San Francisco in 2009 with group classes and monthly memberships. The FitFormer was developed as a reformer-style machine for contemporary Pilates workouts. The company offers the equipment for use in fitness studios and gyms, as well as for home use. Its website describes the machine and studio classes, but does not specify class formats beyond group classes or identify services at an Oakland studio.
