About Gold Coin Car Wash
Each wash bay has a digital time display and a warning buzzer when one minute remains. Gold Coin Car Wash is a coin-operated self-service car wash with seven locations across Oakland, Concord, and San Ramon. Bays use hot water and include foaming brushes; token machines accept $1, $5, $10, and $20 bills. Powerful dual-motor vacuums and on-site vending machines with car-care supplies are available, along with carpet shampooers and scent machines. Most locations are open 24 hours, though some have different hours. Oakland sites have 10-foot bays, and the San Pablo Avenue location has a truck bay for large vehicles. The family-owned business has operated since 1965 and uses 2.5 gallons of water per minute.
