Brighter Beginnings

Brighter Beginnings provides family support programs, health care, and early childhood services in the East Bay. Its Family Support Program helps teens and young parents stay in school, gain work experience, practice positive parenting, and connect with services. Health clinics provide affordable primary health services for all ages in East and West Contra Costa County. The organization also links expectant mothers with health care before, during, and after childbirth, and offers prenatal and well-baby care. Early Head Start is another program. Brighter Beginnings focuses on healthy births, child development, early childhood literacy, and financial stability for families. Its work serves families and children in underserved East Bay communities, including Oakland.
