International Experience - USA

Founded in 2002, International Experience places high school students from around the world with host families in the United States. Students attend local private or public high schools for one or two semesters through J-1 and F-1 programs. The nonprofit connects students, host families and host communities through cultural exchange. Host families offer students a supportive home and share everyday life, stories and cultural traditions. The organization is designated by the U.S. Department of State as a J-1 program sponsor and is accredited by CSIET for its J-1 and F-1 programs. Local coordinators live near student placements and provide support to students and families. International Experience also works with students and host families throughout communities across the USA.
