Utah Chapter

Organized in May 1950, the Utah Chapter of the Appraisal Institute supports professional real estate appraisers across the state. It is a membership organization with more than 346 appraisers. Education is central to its work, with courses for starting appraisers as well as advanced appraisal training. The chapter encourages ongoing professional development, ethical conduct, and adherence to appraisal standards. It also works with the Utah Division of Real Estate on appraisal practices and licensing matters. Member activities include social events such as golf tournaments, ski outings, a symposium in St. George, and seasonal gatherings. Through committees and collaboration with real estate and business organizations, the chapter represents issues affecting Utah's appraisal profession and property rights.
