Dog Training & Counseling Service

A dog training and counseling service. Founded by Laurie Fass in 1975, it offers private lessons and group classes in several Connecticut communities. Dog owners can also arrange for Laurie to handle most of the training or schedule a phone consultation if they are outside the area. Hands-on help is available throughout Connecticut and parts of Massachusetts. Training addresses puppy skills, housebreaking, barking, leash pulling, jumping, aggression, separation anxiety, phobias, and destructive behavior. Instruction also covers basic and advanced obedience, along with on- and off-leash control. Laurie's methods are adapted to the individual dog and situation. The service also addresses choosing a new dog and behavior questions about dogs and cats through WTIC's Pet Talk.
