About Secret Project Robot
In New York City, Secret Project Robot is an art space and event venue rooted in Brooklyn's DIY music, art, and party scene. Its gallery brings together experimental music, outsider art, fine art, and performance. The space has hosted art installations designed as experiential settings for parties, alongside large group installations and immersive collaborative projects. Programming has also included drawing brunches, black light installation shows, and poster exhibitions. Secret Project Robot grew from Mighty Robot, an underground music, art, and party space established in the late 1990s, and later developed its focus on combining art and music through events. Its history includes concerts and parties, as well as art projects that explore the overlap between gallery exhibitions and live experiences.
