Mercaz USA

MERCAZ USA provides advocacy, educational programming, and engagement opportunities for Masorti and Conservative Jews in the United States. It represents Masorti Judaism within the World Zionist Organization and Congress, the Jewish Agency for Israel, the American Zionist Movement, and the Jewish National Fund. The organization advocates for funding of pluralistic streams of Judaism in Israel and supports Zionist activities and Israel programs within Conservative synagogues. Its programs include Masorti on Campus, which supports activities at colleges and universities, and Mercaz Reads Israel, an online book club connecting Diaspora Jews with Israeli authors. MERCAZ USA also supports movement study programs in Israel and works with partner agencies, schools, congregations, and institutions. It is based in New York City.
