Infant Movement Classes
Group sessions support babies as they explore movement.
Babies Project provides infant developmental movement classes, workshops, and online gatherings for babies and their parents or caregivers. Sessions create open exploring time, with certified Infant Developmental Movement Educators supporting infants, discussing observations with adults, answering questions, and offering suggestions. The organization also offers movement workshops for babies from birth to standing and by-donation virtual gatherings for families to connect and share community. Babies Project was created in 2017 by Sarah Barnaby and Amy Matthews as a partnership offering developmental movement to babies and adults. Its approach includes Body-Mind Centering®. In New York City, programming includes sessions with Sarah Barnaby at Kids at Work and House of Wonder in Brooklyn.
