Salesian Missions

Vocational training and educational opportunities for young people are central to this community services organization's work. Salesian Missions supports programs that teach practical trades to help youth find jobs and become self-sufficient. Its projects also provide necessities and assistance to children and families, including clean water, food, educational resources, and support during emergencies. Examples described on its website include vocational training, school meals, mushroom cultivation to address student hunger, and tools for graduates entering work. The organization also shares updates about humanitarian responses and offers a weekly livestreamed Mass. Based in New Rochelle, it supports mission projects around the world, with a focus on impoverished children and families.
