About New Orleans Boulder Lounge
In New Orleans, New Orleans Boulder Lounge is an indoor bouldering gym for climbers of varied experience levels. It offers rope-free climbing on shorter walls with mats beneath them. New climbers can take Bouldering 101 or arrange private coaching, while the Jr. Turtles team provides guided climbing for young children. Groups and birthday parties can be scheduled, with limits for walk-in groups. Climbing shoes are required, and rental shoes are available. The gym also sells climbing shoes, chalk, chalk bags, guidebooks for nearby outdoor climbing areas, training and recovery accessories, and branded gear. A water station is available for filling bottles. Minors need a parent or legal guardian to complete the risk form, and climbers under 15 must have an adult chaperone.
