The society offers public monthly meetings at the University of New Orleans Geology/Psychology building, open to anyone interested in geological sciences and lapidary arts. Meetings begin at 7:30 p.m. on the second Monday of each month, except July and December. Participation is free, and membership is not required. The society also provides teachings in lapidary arts and promotes education in Earth sciences through collection and preservation. Workshop information includes a Lost Wax Workshop sign-up.
