Interfaith Dental

Founded in November 1994, Interfaith Dental began as a two-chair clinic serving working poor families and older adults who could not afford private dental care. Today, this volunteer-driven nonprofit provides transformational oral health care for people experiencing poverty. Its clinics serve communities in Middle Tennessee, including Rutherford County through a Murfreesboro location, and operate from a Nashville facility with 26 operatories. Interfaith Dental also works with an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program. The organization supports patients in achieving and sustaining a healthy smile through its dental care services. Its work began through collaboration with the Nashville Dental Society and West End United Methodist Church, growing from a church basement operation into its current clinical program.
