Cumberland Gallery

For 39 years, Cumberland Gallery exhibited and represented artists working in painting, works on paper, photography, and sculpture. Its physical space closed in April 2019, and Carol Stein continued her work in the arts through Cumberland Gallery Advisory. The advisory connects and educates private and corporate clients about artists and contemporary art, drawing on longstanding relationships with artists and galleries. Services include curatorial work and collection building. It also offers fine art appraisals, lighting concepts, advice on conservation framing, and guidance through the auction process for buying or selling. The business has focused primarily on Tennessee and the Southeast while representing artists with national recognition. Its website features available artwork and commentary on art collecting.
