About EQ Saddle Science
Based in Moraga, EQ Saddle Science is a saddle business specializing in science-based saddles for horses and riders. Its offerings include dressage and jump saddles, available off the rack or custom assembled. EQ uses measurements of the horse's back and a tree angle matching system to size saddle options, with adjustable gullet channels and flexible panels designed to distribute weight. Customers can take a free two-week test ride. The process begins with a meeting with an EQ expert, who guides customers through three measurements; EQ then sends saddle options sized for the horse. Customization is available for fit and appearance, and the company describes its saddles as adjustable to accommodate changes in a horse's back.
