Located just west of downtown Minneapolis, Stone & Steel Design is a custom stone and boulder engraving business serving commercial and consumer projects. It creates address and name markers, entrance monuments, signs, architectural pieces, memorials, pet memorials, fundraisers, pavers, gifts, and novelty items. Engraving is cut deeply into natural stone, then finished with multiple coats of industrial Lithichrome paint. The shop also resurfaces and cuts panels, installs plaques, and produces pin-mount signage. Projects range from municipal landmarks to personal memorials. Customers can discuss stone selection, mockups, scheduling, and materials, then request a custom quote. Onsite scheduling is available by appointment.
