The Water Council | Welcome to Where Water Works

The Water Council connects a global network of water innovators through support programs, tailored networking opportunities, and collaborative partnerships. This Milwaukee-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit works to address freshwater challenges by driving water technology innovation and advancing water stewardship. Its network brings together companies, universities, utilities, nonprofits, and corporate water users, with more than 30 cluster partners around the world. The organization also helps businesses and other organizations understand water risks, build operational resilience, reduce water-related costs, and take credible action through measurable outcomes and transparent reporting. It works across sectors and organization sizes, connecting local and international participants in the water technology industry. The Water Council also offers programs and convenes events related to freshwater innovation and stewardship.
