About CERT School
A hybrid high school career academy. CERT School has locations in Milwaukee and Racine and prepares students for careers in emergency response and transportation. Its Certification and Emergency Response Training program trains students to become first responders while supporting preparation for transportation industry occupations. The academy is part of the Great Lakes Community Conservation Corps, which provides education and job training in the Great Lakes area. The organization also runs environmental and conservation projects, veterans programs, and agricultural training, but CERT School's stated focus is career preparation for students. Its hybrid format combines in-person and remote learning. The school serves students through its two Wisconsin locations.
