Mooring upkeep and service is the core offering, with annual agreements covering two inspections and cleanings. Work includes checking mooring tackle, replacing worn parts when needed, and notifying the Harbormaster of yearly service. Spring service can include hauling up the mooring to inspect its bottom chain and concrete block. In summer, the company reattaches pennants for customers' launch dates and can clean, renumber, reposition, or relocate moorings when necessary. Pennants and pickup buoys can be stored during the off-season. The business also maintains an inventory of mooring supplies, including buoys and mooring pennants. Willard & Son serves Marblehead and surrounding harbors, working with the Marblehead Harbormaster.
