About BizRecycling
Free site visits help businesses and apartment buildings create customized recycling and waste reduction plans. BizRecycling is a public program serving Ramsey and Washington counties, with support for nonprofits, schools, institutions, and other organizations. Its recycling experts identify opportunities to improve waste management and provide practical tools, including educational posters, bin labels, and in-unit recycling bins for apartment residents. Eligible organizations can apply for grants of up to $50,000 to implement recommended improvements. BizRecycling launched in 2013 to support organics collections and expanded into broader waste reduction and recycling assistance. Since its start, the program has met on-site with more than 3,000 businesses and awarded over $10 million in grants to more than 1,200 businesses.
