About Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Art
The Joe Kubert School offers education in cartooning, illustration and graphic art. Its curriculum and art programs prepare students for creative careers, including work in comics, graphic novels and commercial art. Students can explore fields such as concept art, book design and editorial illustration. The school also offers kids' summer sessions focused on cartooning, with activities including drawing superheroes, manga and original characters. Career services help students with career planning, interviewing skills and job research. Companies visit to review third-year students' portfolios and seek potential hires; the school does not guarantee job placement. The school is now part of County College of Morris.
