Kleinert Kutz Hand Care Center

This is an orthopedic and hand surgery practice. It provides surgical and non-surgical care for common and rare conditions affecting the hand, wrist, and arm. Its physicians are fellowship-trained general, orthopedic, and plastic surgeons with specialized training in hand and microsurgery. The team combines these surgical specialties to provide comprehensive hand care. The practice has a history of performing pioneering procedures, including hand transplants, tendon and digital artery repairs, toe-to-hand transfers, and wrist resurfacing and replacement. It also serves as a teaching center for fellows. The practice is part of UofL Health and has a downtown Louisville office at the Abraham Flexner Outpatient Center.
