About Von Lintel Gallery
In Los Angeles, Von Lintel Gallery is an art gallery presenting exhibitions of painting and sculpture. Its current presentations include Lucas Reiner's Trees, a series of paintings focused on curbside trees, and Mark Mennin's DESPOTIKA, Fallen Dictators, featuring works that engage with power, corruption, and political theater. Mennin is known for large-scale sculpture projects integrated into architecture, landscapes, and sculpture parks. The gallery's program brings together individual artists and bodies of work, including a new exhibition by Reiner and a return presentation of Mennin's work. A 300-page monograph on Mennin's monumental stone carvings accompanies his exhibition. Reiner's paintings draw on sustained observation of urban trees and explore the forms shaped by their surroundings.
