United Care Family Medical Center

This is a family medical center. It provides family medicine for patients of all ages, including adults, children, and older adults. Services include general medicine, physical exams, preventive health, pediatrics, immunizations, and well-child exams. The clinic also offers general obstetrical and gynecological care, family planning, pregnancy testing, and STI/HIV testing. Other listed services include diabetes care, allergy and asthma care, sports medicine, mental health services, minor procedures, and same-day visits. Some testing and exams are offered at no cost to patients who qualify under applicable programs. The center opened in downtown Los Angeles in 2004 and added a West Los Angeles location in 2012. Its founder and medical director, Dr. Alfred Lavi, is certified by the American Board of Family Practice as a primary care physician.
