About The Loft L.A.
Weekly worship gatherings and midweek groups are the core offerings at this Christian church. Sunday gatherings use a conversational approach, inviting people to contribute to one another's spiritual growth and explore how to live out their faith. Groups focus on theology, social connection, and taking action. The church also shares recordings of past services through a weekly podcast. Its approach draws on Methodist roots, practical theology, compassion, and ongoing work to decolonize Christianity. The community is open and affirming, celebrates LGBTQIA+ people, and supports racial justice and efforts against anti-AAPI violence. The Loft is part of Westwood United Methodist Church and gathers in Los Angeles.
