Rare Breeds Camera Rentals

Rare Breeds opened in Venice in 2016 with a small collection of cinema cameras. The rental house now serves productions across documentaries, branded content, commercials, independent features, and television. Its inventory includes cinema cameras such as the ARRI Alexa 35 Extreme and Sony Burano, alongside a broad range of lenses. In-house technicians maintain the lens collection, and the shop provides gear preparation and camera support. The Culver City space includes prep areas and loading and parking access for filmmakers. Rare Breeds also describes its approach as collaborative, with support for projects of different budgets and scales. Its current location is on Jefferson Boulevard in Culver City, serving the Los Angeles filmmaking community.
