About Mixografia
Based in Los Angeles, Mixografia is a fine arts printer, publisher, and gallery focused on contemporary printmaking. The workshop produces prints with dimensionality and relief, using custom printmaking and papermaking machinery designed and built in-house for each artist and artwork. Its process supports collaborative projects tailored to individual artistic styles and visions. Mixografia also operates a gallery space displaying works produced by the workshop, including new releases and pieces made since 1969. The exhibition history includes the largest lithographic stone in the world. The Remba family has worked in printmaking for three generations, and Mixografia's three-dimensional printing technique has developed in Los Angeles over more than 50 years. The workshop continues exploring techniques that expand printmaking possibilities across artistic disciplines.
