Cynosure Screenwriting Awards

The competition accepts screenplay submissions through online upload or by mail, then recognizes scripts in two categories: those with compelling female protagonists and those that showcase diversity. It awards a grand prize and runner-up prizes in each category. The grand prize includes a cash award and a mentorship meeting with an established Hollywood producer, agent, or manager. Judges are actors and industry professionals from production companies, studios, agencies, and management companies. Cynosure scripts have also been solicited by studios, production companies, agents, and managers. The awards are sponsored by BroadMind Entertainment, a Los Angeles-based production company. Its focus is screenwriting, not photography services. The competition is based in Los Angeles.
