Center for Reflective Communities

Reflective parenting workshops and training help strengthen relationships between children and caregivers. The Reflective Parenting Program is a group-based, experiential learning series for parents focused on reflection and parent-child attachment. Programs also serve mental health professionals, schools, and organizations through training tailored to staff, supervisors, administrators, and the families they support. The approach draws on child development, psychology, attachment, mentalization, and neuroscience, and is described as an evidence-based prevention and early intervention program. The Center for Reflective Communities also provides early intervention and parent training using a culturally responsive attachment approach. Its work serves families and professionals in Los Angeles.
