About Iglesia Luz y Vida
This is a Christian church. It holds Sunday services at 9 a.m., 10:30 a.m., and noon, along with a Wednesday gathering at 7 p.m. Children ages 2 through fifth grade can participate in Awana, a discipleship program with Bible stories, verse memorization, games, and age-specific club activities. The church also shares prayer requests through a weekly email and hosts a Friday prayer call by Zoom. Its work includes reaching people with the Christian faith, teaching believers, supporting people through spiritual and physical services, and preparing disciples for ministry. The church describes a history in Long Beach dating to a Bible study started in 1954, followed by the purchase of a site in North Long Beach in 1957.
