First Church of the Nazarene

Located in downtown Lima, Ohio, this Nazarene church is also a compassionate ministry center. It holds Sunday worship gatherings at 9:00 and 11:00 a.m., with Spanish translation at the 11:00 service and Haitian Creole at 2:00. Congregants can follow a shared Bible reading plan alongside Sunday teaching and discussion. The church invites people to connect for prayer, support, and information about its activities. Its community work includes caring for people experiencing poverty, supporting those in addiction recovery, and engaging Lima's immigrant communities. The congregation is partnering with Andrew's House of Hope to renovate a nearby house as a women's recovery residence. It is also restoring its church building and developing an outdoor space for gathering and feeding neighbors. Financial contributions support church operations, building work, missions, Haitian ministry, events, and compassionate ministries.
