The Nest

The Nest is a community nonprofit and social service organization in Lexington. It supports women, children, and families facing difficult circumstances through education, counseling, advocacy, and practical resources. Programs include child care and assistance for families with children ages 0 to 5, including essential items during challenging times. Parenting classes address nurturing parenting, nonviolent discipline, protective factors, and caregiver self-care. Survivors of intimate partner violence can access individual counseling and legal advocacy in all languages. The organization also provides support intended to help prevent abuse and neglect of children and adults. Its programs are free and designed to serve caregivers and young children with dignity and respect. The Nest has served the Lexington community for nearly five decades.
