Blue Grass Trust Historic Preservation

A historic preservation nonprofit. The Blue Grass Trust serves Central Kentucky through education, advocacy, and direct services. It provides resources to help people navigate preservation projects and offers information about the value and community impact of preserving historic places. Educational materials include a magazine, speaker series, seminars, walking tour brochures, podcasts, and books. The organization also hosts events, including its deTour program, which features visits to historic sites. Members can support its work, and the Heritage Society recognizes individuals who include preservation in their estate planning. Its activities address architectural and cultural heritage, historic narratives, and the role preservation can play in reducing energy waste from new construction. The Trust's work focuses on historic places throughout Central Kentucky.
