Magic Magazine was an independent publication for magicians, founded in 1991 by Stan Allen. It grew from an eight-page newsletter into a monthly magazine averaging 100 glossy pages. The publication ran for 25 years, producing 301 issues and 31,526 pages before retiring in fall 2016. A complete digital archive is available for purchase through Lybrary.com, while subscribers to Genii Magazine or Ask Alexander can browse the collection. The publication also continues through MAGIC Live!, an annual convention that began in 2001 and brings the magazine's content to life in Las Vegas. The event attracts more than 1,600 magicians each year and is produced by the same team associated with the magazine.
