Community screenings
Film Club Fridays and partnership screenings.
Community film screenings are a core offering. The society also hosts workshops and provides filmmaking support, production opportunities, and networking for local and regional filmmakers. Its Microcinema offers a space for movie lovers and creatives to connect and develop projects. Community members program Film Club Fridays, while partnership screenings bring organizations together. The society collaborates with other border cities on the semi-annual MIRAAA Media Fest and presents the annual Fronterror Film Fest. Founded in 2018, it uses film as an artistic, cultural, and educational practice. The Microcinema opened to the public in 2021. Its activities serve the Laredo community and the South Texas-Mexico border region.
