About Seven Rivers Youth Choir
Young singers attend section-based rehearsals with instruction in sight-singing, individual voice training, music theory, and musicianship, alongside professional-level conducting. Sections serve children with little or no singing experience and those with some prior experience. The curriculum also includes concert tours and other character-building experiences. Repertoire spans sacred and classical music, spirituals, folk songs, and modern popular music, with significant emphasis on sacred and classical works. Founded in 1974 as the La Crosse BoyChoir, the organization has included local, regional, national, and international tours in its program. Seven Rivers Youth Choir is based in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
