About HuntersWorld
HuntersWorld provides teen peer mentoring and emotional education, with programming created and driven by teenagers. Its weekly peer mentoring program is currently paused due to funding challenges, while the organization explores partnerships to deliver its model through other organizations. The group remains focused on teen mental health and is developing a scholarship program for youth pursuing advanced degrees in mental health professions. It also brings past and current participants together through social events, including the annual HunterFest 5k and Festival, which supports its scholarship effort. HuntersWorld began as a way to honor Hunter's life and create a safe place for teens to feel supported. Its community work is based in Jersey City.
