I Love My Life Center

A community and social services organization. LIFE Camp works to prevent gun violence and support youth and families affected by violence. Its violence intervention specialists mediate conflicts, de-escalate gun violence, mentor young people, and share educational materials with community members and partners. The I LOVE MY LIFE Center and Peacemobile provide wraparound services and educational opportunities. Programs include financial literacy and wealth-building courses, workforce and emergency work programs, technology learning, and behavioral management courses. Holistic wellness offerings include therapeutic services, yoga, rites of passage, hydrotherapy, a community garden, and programs for mothers affected by violence. The organization also conducts community outreach and supports social and economic development in Southeast Queens.
