University of Phoenix

Online degree programs are the core offering at this university. Students can pursue bachelor's and master's degrees in business, information technology, and healthcare, with additional programs available across its colleges. Classes are delivered online, start every five to six weeks, and focus on one course at a time. The university also offers skills-aligned learning, transfer-credit opportunities, scholarship searches, and guidance for different student types, including transfer, first-year, graduate, military, and employer-sponsored students. Its instructors are working professionals, and the institution has been continuously accredited by the Higher Learning Commission since 1978. Some programs also hold programmatic accreditation. University of Phoenix serves students in Jacksonville and elsewhere through its online format.
