About Little Friends Preschool
Children attend infant, toddler, PK-3, and VPK classrooms, with routines and activities tailored to each age group. Learning includes purposeful play, hands-on exploration, early literacy and math, creative expression, movement, and social-emotional development. VPK students can try violin or cello through Little Strings, while karate and musical theater add opportunities for movement and performance. Outdoor learning takes place in a garden and seating area, and the Summer Adventure Program serves children from 6 weeks to age 4 with themed activities, projects, music, and indoor and outdoor play. The preschool follows the Duval County Public Schools calendar in general and operates weekdays. It is on the campus of Hendricks Avenue Baptist Church in Jacksonville's Southside, near San Marco, Lakewood, and San Jose.
