Critical Awareness

Florida security officer and firearms training is the core offering. Courses include the 42-hour Class D unarmed security officer academy and a three-day, state-certified Class G armed officer course. Range Fail Repeat training supports students taking another qualification attempt, while G requalification shoots help maintain qualifications. Advanced rifle training is also available. Classes are led by state-certified instructors with experience in security, firearms instruction, and public safety, and the programs are designed for people entering the private security industry or advancing their qualifications. Walk-ins are welcome for some training. The training center is in Jacksonville, Florida.
