Vita-Living

Based in Houston, Vita Living is a nonprofit community service organization supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. It operates 20 group homes in Houston-area neighborhoods and a centrally located activity center, while providing case management across seven counties. Its CLASS program offers individualized, person-centered supports to help clients build skills, stay connected to their communities, and live in the least restrictive environment possible. Support is provided daily, including for people with behavioral challenges or changing healthcare needs. Vita Living serves more than 400 individuals through its core programs. The organization also shares information about eligibility and available CLASS supports with prospective clients and families, and holds events that bring supporters and community members together around its work.
