About The Joe Barnhart Foundation
A community and social services foundation. The Joe Barnhart Foundation carries out Dr. Joe Barnhart's vision of building a community with educational and cultural opportunities, beginning with children. Its programs include the Joe Barnhart Bee County Library, created to serve the public, and scholarships that assist middle and high school students pursuing post-secondary education. The Beeville Art Museum is a teaching museum focused on education through creative exploration. The Foundation also creates parks for reflection, gathering, and play. Established in 1988, it supports people in Beeville and surrounding areas through programs managed by the Foundation. Although based in Houston, its community initiatives serve Beeville and Bee County, Texas, and include annual contributions exceeding $4 million.
