Sharetea

A tea and beverage shop. Sharetea serves milk tea, pearl milk tea, and fruit drinks, with roots in Taiwan's tea-drinking tradition. Its drinks are made with tea leaves rather than artificial flavors, and the Houston website says ingredients are shipped directly from Taiwan. The business describes attention to tea selection, roasting, and brewing, along with seasonal testing of tea leaves and testing of its homemade caramelized sugar. Sharetea began in Taipei in 1992 with to-go black tea and pearl milk tea drinks, and later expanded internationally. The Houston location announced a new home in Dun Huang Plaza in the city's Chinatown. Its offerings focus on tea-based drinks rather than food or health products.
